The boy's basketball team recently beat Aurora on Friday, February 19. This was the Bombers last home game, as well as their last conference game. After the game the CVC champions celebrated by cutting down the nets, each player received a piece of the net for something to remember their great season. However, the boy's season is not yet over.
In the playoffs the Bombers are the 3rd seed and have a bye in the first round; in the second round they will take on Tallmadge. If the Bombers win they will play the winner of University School and Warrensville Heights depending on the how the tournament plays out. When asked about the tournament, junior guard Justin Brownlow said, "I'm looking forward to the playoffs, it should be exciting to see some new teams and the competition they bring. If we play to our full potential, there is no reason why we shouldn't win the district tournament." The team's first game is on March 5, 6 p.m., at Stow High School. The Bombers love a big crowd supporting them at their games, so be sure to travel to Stow and support our Bombers!
