The Kenston hockey team is having their 8th annual wing night at the Cowboy Restaurant. It is a main source of fundraising for the team and makes a substantial difference in the cost to play hockey for Kenston. The Wing night consists of all you can eat wings, pizza, and cornbread. Not only do you get all those terrific food items, but its only fifteen dollars, most people consider that a bargain. There will also be Chinese and basket raffles for some lucky winners. All of the money that are put into the raffles also go to the Kenston hockey team. The date for wing night is January 11, starting at 5 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. at the Cowboy Restaurant. You can buy tickets from anyone on the Bomber hockey team or at the door.
Last year there was an outstanding crowd that came to support the Bombers. The team sold over 300 tickets before the event and even more people came at the door. This year the hockey team looks to surpass last years totals in ticket sales. It has also been reported that some of Kenston's best wing eating contests have occurred at this event. Alex Wittenberg said, "I've been training for a whole year to show everyone my hidden talent of eating wings." Come take on Alex while benefiting the Kenston Bomber hockey team January 11, at The Cowboy Restaurant.
