The Kenston Boy's Basketball Team has seized the CVC with an 11-1 CVC record and an overall record of 17-3, finishing the season on a 10 game winning streak. The Bombers have significant victories over Hawken, Solon, Walsh Jesuit, and Chagrin Falls. Throughout the season the team has picked up the defensive and offensive intensity resulting in a significant improvement in the point differential between the first time they played a team to the second time. For example, the team played Orange during its season opener and won by 3 points. 11 games later when Orange came to Kenston for revenge, the Bombers won 59-28 in a 29 point rout, which in the big picture is 26 points more then they won by the first time. The team has matured and fallen into their style of play on offense and on defense as they began to stack up the wins throughout the season.
This Friday night at Stow-Munroe Falls High school, the Bombers will take on Tallmadge High School, who defeated Chagrin Falls on Monday night. Kenston senior Cole Herman, member of the notorious Kenston Krazies student section, is excited about the upcoming game against Tallmadge. When asked about the situation he said, "It's time to get our krazy on and help cheer our school to a state championship!" The future is unknown, but we do know the Kenston Bombers will be well prepared to overcome all of the odds in a krazy 2010 playoff bracket.
