This Friday, September 24, the Bombers will face the Chagrin Falls Tigers in a cross-town rivalry known as "The Battle of 422." This year the Bombers are out for redemption as they have fallen to the Tigers the past two years and want the title and bragging rights back for the next 365 days.
The team knows what is at stake this Friday night and is going to continue practicing hard. This is a divisional game in the Chagrin Valley Conference and a win would be essential to achieve the team's off-season goal of winning the CVC. When asked about his thoughts on the game, senior strong safety Dave Iklodi said, "It's going to be a great chance to prove ourselves and what we can do to become an established football team in the CVC."
This week the Bombers will continue the homecoming jersey tradition from last season and sport a primarily black, customized jersey for each player. The game this Friday is a "black-out" so all fans are asked to wear black. Senior Kenston Volleyball player Molly Zeigler said, "Be there or be square!" She continued by saying, "Bombers fly together!"
NOTE: Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
