Senior Kyle Schmidt belted a 2-run homer in the top of the seventh, which proved to be the difference in Kenston's 12-11 victory over Aurora. Schmidt finished 4-5 with 4 RBI and 1 run scored. Kenston junior Nick Levine was 3-5 with 5 RBI and 2 runs scored. Kenston and Aurora each pounded out 12 hits apiece. Sophomore Michael Fearer relieved Schmidt and pitched the final 3 innings for his second win of the season. The Bombers improved to 7-7 overall and 3-3 in the CVC; Aurora dropped to 6-6 overall and 3-3 in the CVC.
