Junior Patrick Porter hit a walk-off grand slam home run to lead Kenston to a 15-5 victory over CVC rival Orange in six innings. Kenton started quick jumping to a 5-0 lead after 2 innings; Orange tied the game with timely hitting in the top half of the fifth inning. Kenston took a 6-5 lead in the bottom of the fifth on a double by junior Eric Monroe and a RBI single by senior Bryan Pike. The Bombers blew the game open in the bottom of the 6th inning culminating with Porter's grand slam blast. Pike finished with 3 hits and 2 RBI, while sophomore Nick Levine had 2 hits and 2 RBI. Senior Alex Wittenberg went the distance for Kenston securing his 5th win of the season. The Bombers improved to 10-11 and 6-3 in the CVC; Orange dropped to 8-9 and 5-4 in the CVC.
