Kenston pounded out 13 hits in a 8-5 victory over CVC rival Orange. With the win, the Bombers assured themselves of at least a share of the CVC conference division championship. Junior Patrick Porter got the Bombers on the board first with a RBI triple in the top of the second inning. The Bombers scored 4 more times in the top half of the fifth and added 2 more in the top of the sixth - with the big hits coming from junior Eric Monroe and sophomore Nick Levine. Monroe, Levine, Dave Iklodi, and Michael Rengers each collected 2 hits for the Bombers. Orange's Darian Johnson hit a home run blast to dead center in the fifth. Kenston's Kyle Schmidt started and got the win, helped in relief by Michael Fearer, earning his first save of the year. The Bombers improved to 11-11 and 7-3 in the CVC; Orange dropped to 8-10 and 5-5 in the CVC.
