A group of Kenston community residents have teamed together for the purpose of raising non-tax based revenues to build a new Kenston Community Stadium. This new complex will replace the existing Kenston High School football stadium. Highlights of the proposed new stadium include:
This $2.5 million project will be funded by charitable contributions from private and corporate donors. There will be no tax-based financing or levy to fund this project.
To kick-start this project, donations will be sought for a "100 Bomber Squadron." Each member of this group will be asked to donate $5,000.00 and will be recognized as a founding member of the Kenston Bomber Stadium Project.
All monies raised will be held and accounted for by the Kenston Board of Education and all donations will be fully tax-deductible. Donations should be made out to the "Kenston Board of Education Stadium Project."
We would like to emphasize that we are building a Kenston community stadium. This field will be available for football, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey and community activities for boys and girls of all ages.
