The annual National Honor Society Variety Show will take place on Friday, April 18, 2008. The show will be in the KHS Auditorium at 7 pm. Tickets will go on sale the week of the show (April 14-April 18) and will be $8 pre-sale and $10 at the door.
This year's show will have a wide variety of acts. Because the response for auditions was so overwhelming, the audition process was very selective this year. The judges had a very difficult time deciding which acts to include and how to organize acts in the show appropriately. More importantly, it was really inspiring to see so many Kenston students interested in participating in the Variety Show. The final performance will include dancers, bands, instrumentalists, singers, and comedic appearances. The audience is sure to be entertained by the four MC’s, John Behm, Tommy Grasso, Tommy Reisinger and Dreadless Stubbs.
The Variety Show is a staple for Kenston students to showcase their talents that are unknown to other students, teachers, and residents in the community. The National Honor Society puts on the Variety Show every year and is one of the biggest projects of the club. A lot of preparation and time is dedicated before, during, and after the show from volunteers, performers and members of NHS. Matt Bryson said, "I have been working every day since auditions for this show. I am in three acts therefore the Variety Show takes up most of my spare time, but I can't wait until the final performance." Also, special thanks to Mr. Kenen for his technical expertise in helping to ensure a successful performance year after year.
