Two years ago Kenston High School started the Kenston Bowling Club. Created by Matt Kleinstub, many excited bowlers soon joined the new club. Last year, the team started practicing at 4:30 on Tuesdays and at 8:30 a.m. on Saturdays; with games on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and sometimes Tuesdays (when they don't practice) at Solon's Freeway Lanes.
Unfortunately, after all the hard work the team put in they didn't do very well, but Coach Rich Williams was still proud of his team, and ready to start again this year.
If you are looking for some fun and want make new friends, think about joining the Bowling Club. If you are a part of the team you get a discount when you bowl, and eventually you may be able to letter in the sport. Junior bowler Evan Pressman said, "Bowling club is really fun. It's a perfect balance of fun and seriousness." Bowling started Saturday, October 18, at 8:30 and all are welcome to join. Talk to Matt Kleinstub for more details.
