Pulse, Kenston's after school writing club, is for you if like to write, share what you write with others, and get feedback on your writing. Students meet after school twice a month to write short stories, creative pieces, poems, and more. This club is open to writers of all levels of expertise. You can write about whatever you like, but a prompt is always provided to help you think of ideas. At the end of each meeting, the members have the opportunity to read the pieces they just wrote and share things they've written outside of school as well.
Lauren Pinkerton says "Pulse is freaking awesome. I go there whenever I can, but sometimes I forget when it is so I don't go." The Pulse Writing Club meets in Ms. Joyce's room (A113) from 2:30 to 3:30. Meetings are held on Tuesdays or Wednesdays twice a month (see the meeting schedule in the right column). You aren't obligated to come to every meeting either; so join us each meeting or just when you're feeling creative! Bring paper or a journal, something to write with, and your imagination. Please see Ms. Joyce in A113 if you should have any questions.
