Recently, a team of elite individuals has organized themselves in order to prepare for the Ohio UPA (Ultimate Players Association) Ultimate Frisbee Tournament. This team, captained by Ronjon Siler and David Wildasinn, is hoping to win the state tournament this year and bring back the prestigious award to the Kenston community. Last year the team got as far as third place in the state tournament, so hopefully it is well within their reach to achieve this season.
Although the team is not officially afilliated with the Kenston Local Schools District, it is exclusively compiled of Kenston High School students. Thus far, the members of the team are: Ronjon Siler, David Wildasinn, Connor Pinkerton, Bryan Cooper, Egon Bohler, Michael Olson, Zach Shell, Scott Burgess, Jordan Manke, Mina Toma, Joe Supan, Parker Schabel, Alex Dimitruk and multiple others. Also, the team is being coached by Kenston alumni Robert Olson and Danny Olson. With the state tournament just a few short weeks away, May 17 th, the team will have to get a lot of practice time in order to train themselves for the upcoming tournament.
