Many students have been wondering what Kenston is doing to celebrate Halloween. In a short interview with Mr. McDevitt, he explained the guidelines for Halloween. Student can wear costumes to school on October 31, to celebrate the holiday. But, students must be aware of the school dress code. Although it is a holiday, students are still at school and need to obey the rules. Refer to the school handbook for dress code, or ask an administrator.
Also, students may not bring props to school, such as fake weapons or magic wands. There can also be no masks worn or faces completely painted. This means students can not completely cover their faces, but a small amount of face paint is fine. "I'm really excited to dress up for Halloween, and I think it's fun to see everyone's costumes," said Meredith Gray. Along with these guidelines, it is encouraged to show the holiday spirit and wear you best Halloween costumes to school. Have a safe and happy Halloween!
