The Cleveland Browns have only won once against the rival Pittsburgh Steelers since they came back into Cleveland in 1999. That all changed on a cold wind chilled Thursday night in Cleveland, Ohio. The Browns defense came ready to play. They had 8 sacks and completely shut down the Steelers offense. The defensive backs held their own all night by manning up on their receivers and playing hard nosed football. The Cleveland offense was lead by the "wild cat" formation with Josh Cribbs, who totaled 87 yards rushing and another 104 yards on kick off and punt returns. Also fueling the offense was some hard running by Chris Jennings who had 73 yards rushing and one touchdown.
This win over the Steelers has highlighted the season and has given hope to Cleveland fans. With the Season looking poorly, many believed the way Eric Mangini was coaching was not going to work well. This gives hope for all fans and the players for successful seasons to come. Mr. Murphy said, "Perhaps Browns in the super bowl in 2011?" Anthony Santo said, "I knew they could win. Josh Cribbs had a great game followed by a shut down defense."
