Attention all snowboarders and skiers! Brandywine and Boston Mills are now officially open for the season. Most of the snow is artificial and icy, but that just builds the anticipation for the real good powder. Snowboarder Nick Plewacki said, "I shred the gnar and can't wait to go again!" I am sure that everyone is ready by now, but being a boarder myself, I know that we have a little bit more waiting to do for that perfect run down the slope. For now, Boston Mills has three lifts running with a small terrain park. Brandywine has two lifts open with a better terrain park. These terrain parks include flat rails, hand rails, box rails, and a mini kicker. Brandywine and Boston Mills have also been making snow so there is more than just ice. All they can do is just hope for blizzards and great snow. This is your update on the snow sport weather. Check the snowboarding page in student life for more updates and photos. Stay chill Kenston!
