Driving Conditions

Harrison EllisKenston students are starting to have trouble getting to and from school during harsh weather conditions. In Bainbridge and Auburn road conditions on Chagrin Road, Washington Street, and Bainbridge Road were all poor this morning. With the roads being dangerous students have to wake up earlier for school to ensure a safe drive. This makes students much more tired and inattentive during class. Pat Lyons said, "I've decided to have a mental snow day." With bad road conditions the risk for accidents increases exponentially, especially with new drivers such as the sophomore and junior class. The choice whether to use a snow day or not is always hard, and using one to many results in extra days of school. The administration is always considering our safety first when deciding on whether we have school or not.
