Snow Day Pains

John Malone There is nothing like that feeling, waking up at six a.m. hoping for a snow day. You went to bed the night before with a snowy wonderland around your house, and for some strange reason you wake up with barely any snow. Sal Salverino said, "I hate it, I went to bed with it snowing like crazy, I woke up and it was gone. Mother nature has failed me again!" This is the feeling of many Kenston students through out the winter season. We all want that feeling of our mother walking into our dark room and telling us that school was cancelled. We all want the unexplainable relief of rolling over and going back to bed. Although sadly, days like this are becoming increasingly scarce. All we can do is hope that one will come, and that someday soon our mother will say those wonderful five words. There is a snow day. Nick Plewacki said, "I already had my board in my backseat, putting my gear on when my mom said school was on."
