Important Notes (Please Read):
- Bookmark (or add to Favorites) this page for easy return visits to the SAM system. DO NOT bookmark (or add to favorites) the login screen as its location may change. Also, we will put important announcements and troubleshooting tips on this page as they arise.
- The Login Screen will say "Parent Assist". Do not worry about that, it is the same login portal as the Student Assist.
- Your access to this account will be removed if your school fee's are not up to date.
- Logins are CASE sensitive. Make sure you use a capital "S" before the student number.
- The informational video is very important as it outlines some common misconceptions about the Student Assist Module.
- ALL issues should be directed to the appropriate E-mail address:
- High School: KHS_SAM_HELP@kenstonlocal.org
- Middle School: KMS_SAM_HELP@kenstonlocal.org
- The grade and/or percentage listed for each class on the initial screen when you login IS NOT indicative of how your child is currently doing. It is an accumulative of the entire years average for that course and that information is misleading to the students current progress. That information is a feature built into the program that a lot of school districts utilize because they do not have separate nine week grading periods like we do. Rather, they have accumulative grades for each course. Therefore, disregard the grade info on the initial screen and go to the course details for a more accurate indicator of your students current progress.
- This system was designed for both Parent and Student use. It is the parents decision as to whether to allow their child access to this system. Please be reminded that any user who logins to the system is able to change the password for that account. Therefore, if you should have trouble accessing the account, please check with all users on that account in case they changed the password.
