Quarterly Independent Reading Requirements: Each quarter the children are required to read 8 books as independent outside reading. A book should be 150-200 pages. This reading can also be met with combined pages from magazines, non-fiction books such as a scouting manual.
ScootPad.com All the students have an account at ScootPad.com. This is a free online practice site. We use this in class and during our extra computer time every week. I do encourage you to have your child use this site on a regular basis. I have setup rewards for students when they earn their coins.
