This will allow you to manage your e-mail account and put e-mail addresses in your exception list so that their messages always come through unabated.

STEP 1
Go to https://rweb.lgca.org/SpamConsole/Register.aspx and enter in your new e-mail address. DO NOT pay attention to the stuff on this registration page that refers to MM.lgca.org. That is only for other school districts still using the old e-mail system. You simply put in your current e-mail address "first.lastname@kenstonlocal.org"

STEP 2
You will be e-mailed a password to enter into the filtering area for your e-mail account. Enter the LOGIN page for the MailMarshall page and login using your e-mail address and password sent to your e-mail account.

Step 3
This is VERY important. Once logged in, click on REVIEW BLOCKED E-MAIL. Yo uwill see no messages to start with. In the drop down menu up next to home in the upper right hand corner, click the down wedge and click on KE_SPAM. This will expose your kenston e-mails SPAM(junk) messages. Remember, you are not in your e-mail account. Rather a viewing source of your SPAM filter. Thus, if you find a message that is legitimate and you would like to "release" it to your e-mail account, then put a check mark next to the message and click on UNBLOCK e-mail.

STEP 4
Go back to your MailMarshall HOME (upper right corner) to see all your menu options. Please go to CHANGE YOUR SPAM QUARINTINE MANAGEMENT PASSWORD and change your password from what LGCA randomly assigned you to whatever your e-mail password is. This way you are not remembering numerous passwords.

STEP 5
You will now want ot edit your list of SAFE SENDERS. Use the * as a variable, but use it sparingly. For example, if you don't want the SPAM filter to filter out any messages from somone at XYZCOMPANY.COM then you put *.XYZCOMPANY.COM as a safe sender. Anyone in that domain who sends a message will be unfiltered. That includes SPOOFERS. Thus doing an *.AOL.COM as a safe sender would not be a good idea. There are many spammers out there who use AOL, HOTMAIL, YAHOO, etc... accounts.
